This Privacy Policy explains what information Teamplay ("we", "us") collects when you use teamplay.team, and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account information: if you sign up to host games, we collect your email address and, if you choose Google sign-in, basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) from your Google account.
• Game session data: when you host or join a game, we temporarily process the display name you choose and in-game actions (moves, drawings, quiz answers) needed to run that session.
• Game history (Pro plan): if you're on the Pro plan, we store a record of past game sessions and quizzes you've created, tied to your account.
• Payment information: we do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment processor, Paddle.com, who collects billing information directly.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate and run game sessions in real time;
• To authenticate you and maintain your account;
• To process subscription and event pass purchases (via Paddle);
• To provide game history and saved quizzes for Pro subscribers;
• To respond to support requests you send us.

3. Third Parties We Share Data With

• Paddle.com — processes all payments as our Merchant of Record. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
• Google — if you use Google sign-in, Google shares your basic profile information with us per your consent.
• Railway — our hosting provider, which stores our application data and database.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in while hosting games. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and game history data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
